Summer Series Aggregate Competitions

We run an aggregate competition throughout the Summer, awarding 6 points for a win down to 1 point for 6th place. From this list, we award to the highest placed Nursery, Novice and Open dogs who held that status at the first of our Summer Open trials.

Open : Ben Smith & Roy (18 points) - The Lacy Scott Cup

Novice : Margaret Angood & Phoebe - The Brian & Kay Warren Memorial Rosebowl

Nursery : Arwyn Davies & Cynfal Gwen (12 points) - The Cecil Murphy Memorial Trophy

Highest Placed Lady Handler : Dee Chapman & Braehead Sid and Sarah Jenkins & Bonnie (shared on 8 points) - The EASS Lady Handler Trophy

Highest Placed Dog Trained by its Handler : Ben Smith & Roy - The Deptford Award

Most National Qualifying Points Awarded to an EASS Local Member - The Heathgate Shield
There were actually 5 dogs who scored 8 points: Graham Baldry & Floss, Dee Chapman & Braehead Sid, Ed Hawkins & Roy, Sarah Jenkins with both Bonnie & Elsie. Only one of those 8 point totals contained 6 points for winning a trial, so this year’s winner is Graham Baldry & Floss

The Birkbeck Trophy which goes to the highest placed EASS Local Member to qualify for the English Team to go forward to the International. Unfortunately in 2021, we had no one get through to the team, so this year it is not awarded.

Cradle : shared by Linsey Knocker & Sheila and Emily Elnaugh & Ned (11 points) - The EASS Cradle Salver

Novice Handler : Emily Elnaugh & Ned (11 points) - The EASS Novice Handler Trophy
